5 things an interior designer can’t miss at Decorex 2017

With a rich heritage of 40 years, Decorex is internationally renowned for being the destination where interior design professionals discover the finest and most coveted luxury products from new, emerging and established talent.

This year Decorex will be very special for us (more on that at the end of this post) and we can’t wait for it to start!

Here are our 5 highlights of this year’s show:

1// Upholstery

Founded in 2014, Duistt is a Portuguese furniture brand specializing in upholstery and have produced the fabulous Julius armchairs and a revival of the iconic Wormley Chair designed by Edward Wormley.

Handcrafted by the most talented Portuguese artisans, every piece combines ancient knowledge and techniques with modern home decor aesthetics. All of Duistt’s collections resulted in very sophisticated and high-end pieces where attention to detail is key.

2// Center Tables

Centre tables can be a statement piece in every living room. BOCA DO LOBO’s exquisite tables are like a piece of art and will for sure turn heads anywhere they are placed.  Every piece of furniture designed by this brand carries an exclusive emotional experience, a sense of belonging and a state of mind.

Boca do Lobo creates beautiful furniture that is passionately handcrafted in Portugal.Their artisan’s wisdom, gained from decades and generations of experience, translates into the most unique pieces handcrafted with love and dedication. No detail or element is overlooked, offering the best of art and design. The Eden Centre Table is just one of many examples of that.

3 // Wall lights

These lighting options can create a different mood to a room DELIGHTFULL’s lighting embodies a sincere passion for innovation and a true dedication to the revival of local artisan craftsmanship through long lasting masterpieces.

4// Armchairs

Comfort is key in any interior design project! Finding the best pieces that create a beautiful space and are comfortable at the same time can be a challenge. BRABBU’s upholstery collection will work beautifully in any interior design scheme. The incredibly elegant pieces will suit residential and hospitality projects, corporate, retail or even yachts projects.

5// The seminar

A packed programme of talks featuring industry leading names will explore craft, lighting, hotels & content for young & emerging designers.

We are so proud that our Co-Founder Ana will be a panellist at a fantastic talk hosted by Polly Williams at the award winning Camberyard on the 20th of September. Polly specialises in offering expert industry mentoring and advice to interior design professionals. With over 12 years’  experience advising an interior design studio in London, Polly knows how to launch an interiors brand and make it a huge success.

If you’re passionate about interior design and launching and growing your own successful business, make sure not to miss it!
